We love being able to share some of our contributors and artist’s work like Sandy Christ’s work from our latest issue. This illustration spread was for our “Snack Break” column. In creating this illustration, she describes it as a “magical entryway” into Nigerian/West African markets of London (like “Little Lagos” in South East London/Peckham) and how these enclaves create a replica of home but in a different surrounding country/place.
